Our client has been in business for over 20 year and specializes in event management. They are located in Oak Creek and have over 300 employees with clients nationwide.

JOB SUMMARY

The role of Design Department Assistant shall be to assist the Design Manager in day-to-day tasks. 

The Design Department performs three main groups of tasks:
1) Graphic design, proofing, production and installation of graphics for inside use and customers, including adhesive decals and large scale printed panels

2) CAD design, including:
a) relatively simple event floorplans for event consultants and customers
b) comprehensive specification drawings of tent structures, usually involving direct communication with professional designers, architects, and engineers
c) Mechanical drawings of parts and assemblies for manufacture

3)  Artistic renderings of tents for high end customers, or of custom tent structures or structures with integrated graphics, including photo manipulation

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

1)  Prior experience with the software utilized is desirable.

Main software packages used in the Design Department:
1) Adobe Suite, mainly Photoshop and Illustrator
2) AutoCAD LT
3) Google SketchUp

2) Prior design experience is desirable.
3) Must have eye for visual layout and pleasing page design for materials produced.
4) Must be computer savvy and know how to independently find workarounds and troubleshoot.
5) Must enjoy a fun but fast-paced and demanding work environment.
6) Must maintain positive and professional attitude toward work and colleagues.
7) Must have flexible schedule and be willing to work late at times.
8) In addition to design work, must be willing to prep graphics and assist on graphic installations on vehicles or tent panels.

This is a permanent, full time position and immediate hire.
Compensation hourly - $15 per hour
